Floral Faces III | Lookbook

You will find new treasures hidden throughout these faces… a few pieces of fruit… or birds in flight. This work makes me nostalgic for days wandering museums full of Greco-Roman sculptures. I envision birds nesting in the courtyards atop art’s greatest masterpieces and am reminded of the delicate and fragile nature of every living thing.

I hope these paintings take take you to a place of nostalgia and romance, as they do for me.

The third ‘Floral Faces’ release will include five original paintings by Katie Mosley completed at her studio in Cincinnati, Ohio this summer.

Each piece was created using acrylic paint on 22x30 in. cream paper with textured edges. Framing is not included; however, if you would like to consult with me about framing choices, I would be happy to do so free of charge.

Watching these faces evolve over the past year has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work to date. I am so proud of where these have ended up.
